ANGEL
In April of 2018 a friend of mine that I grew up going to the same church with passed away. He was just 18 and although we were not the closest of friends, he had a personality that would always shine all through our Sunday school classes and the time we spent outside them. He had an innocent/pure demeanor and so had the nickname Angel, which felt more like his name than a nickname to be honest. This series, dubbed “Angel”, was a little way of paying tribute to him and acknowledging the life he lived. It was my first passion project and a opportunity to express myself through my art that I found largely therapeutic.
